I really should get started on Pokémon Platina . I've had this game lying around for over a year now and still haven't watched more than a few opening screens. Speaking of pokemon, apparently there's going to be another DS pokemon RPG released this year with new gameplay and new pokemon. And probab...

I finally picked up a PS3 only a few weeks ago, myself. While I have five games for it (Blazblue, CrossEdge, Disgaea 3, Demon's Souls, and Valkyria Chronicles) I've found myself trying a lot of demos for the sake of curiosity. So far I've decided I'm getting Bioshock 2 (after playing the original Bi...

Fufufu...who the hell laughs like that anyway? Anyway, recently got myself a PS3. Had Demon's Souls for a while. Pretty fun, doesn't seem THAT difficult. Was doing fine on my first playthrough with few issues up until I ran into a guy that decided he wasn't just going to attack my shield like everyo...

Mysterious image seems to depict at least four new classes. With the other 5 and the revised alchemist (assuming it isn't the winged girl in that picture, I want to say thats supposed to be some kind of wizard though) thats 10 classes at least. Come to think of it, unless the princesses are healers...

What Maxine means to say is that long ago in time before time we all agreed we like Landsknecht better than the knock-off and forbidden terminology. Thus, since the elders agreed, we found it of utmost hilarity to institute a forum-wide ban on the term. And, forever since, have amused ourselves sil...

It's probably not coincidence that that is very similar to Mana Khemia: Student Alliance which I'm playing now (they're both part of the Atelier franchise, right?). I'll definitely get Atelier Annie too. I'm pretty sure Mana Khemia technically falls into the Atelier Iris series. Somehow. That's wha...

Finally finished Atelier Annie. I just saw the other day, but I had no idea what it was. Would you recommend it? I thought it looked interesting. Atelier Annie is probably one of the more interesting games I've played recently, I'll say that much. Plenty of character interaction too. In particular ...

Finally finished Atelier Annie. It wasn't exactly a long game, or a hard one. I finished it in about four sessions. I was merely reluctant to play it again after finally putting it down the first time as I had almost forgotten that, as a living creature, I required food to continue living. Could try...

Starfe: I can't comment on WRPG's, since Etrian Odyssey is the closest thing to a WRPG I can get close to (I've tried Bioware's stuff and Oblivion, neither particularly appealing) but for the JRPG's and P&P, that's pretty spot on. I largely prefer JRPG's for my RPG fix, but so many of them have ...

I'd like to see a FPS where you don't shoot shit and kill it like Elebits LOL PACIFIST GIRL GAMER GTFO Wasn't there also a firefighter game for the Wii that was played in first person and you 'shot' fires or broke down doors with your axe and stuff. I vaguely recall hearing that it wasn't actually ...

@Rodger: what are these games? I think I've seen you mention them before but I can't recall and the whole bed thing is fucking hilarious enough for me to actually care to pay attention. I'm actually fairly new to this series, or at least the main series of games since most never got localized prior...

My copy of Atelier Annie finally came in and I have to say that has to be the most amusing opening for a JRPG ever. Just starting the game up I can already tell I'll like it better than any of the other Atelier games I played (read: Atelier Iris 1/2/3) The main character's grandfather, tired of her ...
