Thank you for the suggestions! About the grinding: All these games involve grind, it just depends how well disguised/entertaining it is. Not once for 6 whole stratum of EO3 did I feel like I was grinding, and I don't really have a problem with some final post-game boss grinding tagged on the end, I ...

After EO3. EO1, 2 or something else?
I really enjoyed EO3 up until I burnt out grinding for the post-game. The exploration and mapping were really fun. I love roguelikes, and challenging games in general. My question is, is it worth picking up EO1 or 2 next, or will they just feel like a step backward? Are there any good alternative ND...

Spoiler: [spoiler]I ask because I suspect that getting consistent near 100% head arm and leg binds is the first step toward beating the final seafaring quest boss. I'm most definitely NOT asking for anyone to confirm/deny or spoil that, but I would like to put my efforts towards building the best bi...

Highest probability of applying binds?
I've not use bind skills much at all, so there are a few things I'm unclear on. Bind skills: Hanging, kage nui, arm breaker. Status/bind probability is affected only by luck, right? So to get the best chance of applying a bind, you can a) boost luck or have farmer as a main class b) double action to...

re: forging, I simply never got around to doing it before now. I quickly came to the same conclusion regarding ATK and elements though. After re-building my team for higher damage output, going back over all the bosses for the rare drops and grinding more than anyone should in one lifetime I beat al...

Endgame grinding? (may contain spoilers)
So I've mapped everything, done everything I can but still have the final boss and a couple of other bosses I can't beat (haven't really tried the final boss yet, after he wiped my party on turn 1 on the first try!). My party is only level 65 and below, while the cap is currently at 80. I haven't co...

Touring Japan
I'd just barely joined this forum before setting off on my travels, so I haven't really been able to contribute much. If anyone here is interested in reading my account of our travels from the North to the South of Japan by motorbike, we're 2 months into the trip, in Hiroshima now and the write-up i...

So depending on your answer its probably going to be considered a spoiler. But Benkyo, why is a hoplite so essential to beating the post bosses? [spoiler]As eharper said, elemental resists. The first post-game boss I stumbled across does 800-1000(?) elemental damage to the full party every 5(?) tur...

I'd love to be able to figure out a way to beat the post-storyline dragons without a Hoplite, but I think I'll have to retire one of my level 40-something Listen to Experience guys and start grinding one up. Either that or build an entirely new team by retiring my main 5. I'll try and put it off unt...

A couple more suggestions, hope you don't mind: Warrior Wide Effect: Should say that it only works for single-target skills, not regular attacks. Ballista 'Rear Mortar Bombardment': I know you said you weren't interested in translation updates until the official ones come out, but 'Rear' instead of ...
