Re: Introduce yourself here! Or say farewell!
Still in college. A dream about this site prompted my return. But goodness me, of it isn't the most simultaneously nostalgic, yet embarrassing experience to look through my old posts.

Re: Etrian Odyssey V for 3DS launches August 4 in Japan
It sounds like something I'd hear from Street Fighter 2. As a special stage or something.

Re: Etrian Odyssey V for 3DS launches August 4 in Japan
The Untold series's story mode additions aren't the greatest, and EOU1 was basically made for story mode only, but I would say that EOU2 is a decent remake of EO2 in classic mode. It's a nice update for oldtimers, and newcomers get to play one of the older games without paying a fortune for a secon...

Finally another mainline game. I've been getting tired of ignoring the existence of the Untold line.
What's with the little potato people though? Not even loli like a lot of other EO portraits have been... Weird.

Re: I hope EO5 will have Character customization
And why no skin color customization using the RGB sliders? The functionality is there obviously, but for some reason they disable them for skin color and instead give only a small palette with mostly variations on pale and pink :( It's so that they can avoid characters with skin colors that match t...

Scale of one to ten, how dead are we?
I swear, each time I realize I want to stick around here more I realize I've been gone for several months.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
That's largely due to the lack of supplements as of now though, not quite out of design. That being said, fifth is definitely better in that regard if we're only looking at core. My biggest pet peeve of five is the skill system, and how it works like 4e instead of using ranks, something I thought wa...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
My biggest problem with both Pathfinder and 3.5 are the myriad of 'trap' options. Essentially, there are a huge amount of feats and features you're more than allowed to take. The problem is that most of them are sub-optimal, in the sense that an averagely built character can perform better in combat...

Re: RP Wants
I think I'll probably step back if we're doing Pathfinder, I can't really keep up with anymore ttrpgs as opposed to a more or less rules-less play-by-post. That and 3.pf has become my new poison.
