Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?

It's very positive that the rioters have been increasingly arrested though. While the approach against the BLM people compared to the Trump rioters is wildly different and broadly speaking pretty much racist, the end goal here is important. It's less about Dems vs GOP but more about drawing a line i...

Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?

As someone from the UK, my opinion on the US election matters little, but marginal successes are not good for anyone. I am a keen supporter of remaining in the European Union and will vote for any party that makes rejoining their primary goal. So you can guess my views on Trump but frankly the Democ...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

So I finished the Oryx and Crake series - which was really good! It was very weird reading about pandemics and stuff at the same time as one was happening in the world. I did not read this with the knowledge that it was pandemic-y but because it was well reviewed. Crime Dot Com, was OK. It was nothi...

Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?

So, how's everyone getting on? In England specifically, we've just announced our second England wide lockdown even though schools remain open. Which is a problem as older kids and Uni students are one of the largest spreader groups :(. Otherwise, I'm doing OK. I'm a permanent home worker from before...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

Have you tried different types of fantasy books? I try to break up the reading a bit by reading other things, so it's not just one constant stream of the same genre - even if I do enjoy it. I've just finished Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. At first I did not enjoy it, at all. Maybe the first thi...

Re: Paper Mario

Yes.

I personally prefer the N64 version but I'm in the minority. That being said the Gamecube one is a fantastic game that goes for about £100 a game on ebay in the UK.

If you've got the time to play it, I totally would as it's engrossing and fun. It'd be a good distraction from the world today.

Paper Mario

I'm looking forward to the latest one that comes out next month! I hated the Wii one and skipped the Wii U one entirely but the original was incredible and the Gamecube one was solid too. This new one looks like a return to form with some nice new techniques thrown into battle. Any other Paper Mario...

All forums are a lot quieter than they used to be sadly. A lot of us have also been on here for more than 10 years as well.
