Man, the ps2 is still getting cool games. Also the music isn't bad at all. Shmups should have hard music. Heavy and power metal, maybe even some hard techno or electronica. Gotta have stuff to get you pumped up.

Just some FOE complaints here.

[spoiler]The Deathman is a terrible F.O.E. It isn't too damaging, has lots of life, and has an instakill move. I've had so much trouble getting far cause of those damn guys.[/spoiler]

I stopped playing mega man games a while back and could never get back into them. I prefer the exploring found in Metroids or Metroidvanias to those. For just running and gunning I prefer games like Gunstar Heroes, Contra, and Metal Slug. Granted, I'm terrible at most of those, but they're fun. At t...
