I was hoping to be using auxiliary items with more drawn out battles, or hexers to weaken the monsters then own them with fighter types, but all I've been doing is using auto and mastering things like swords/axes. so I've been enjoying EQII so far, but it seems too easy. I haven't been using skills and only been attacking every mob I see and winning. I've yet to beat the game yet, but is it common to just auto all the way through the game?

yeah, it depends what mood I'm in. sometimes I just like dungeon crawling and the ol grind. but other times it bores me to death. I do like the idea of 'surviving' in the dungeon just based on items that you find and how you use them.

Yeah, Izuna is great. I've been telling myself to ascend in nethack before I start playing any other rogue-likes...but I think I'm going to give up for now and move on to others lol. Powder looks fun, I might sink some time into that. I'd go back to playing Izuna, but EOII is taking up my DS time
