Can you have abilities of multiple classes on the same character or do you lose all the old skills when you alter class?

I've tried to search for this but I haven't found any info on it. What are skills that can be strengthened through training mean?

Hm, I get "This QR Code is not supported" error for all these. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

edit: Oh... you have to read them from in game (which unlocks later). Here I've been trying to use the QR in the system. -_-

Is there no instruction book inside the game case? I have the design book but inside of the "cd" case there's only the warning pamphlet and no instruction manual. Anyone else see that?
