Re: EOIV Rantage!!

Ugh fucking super-baboon, stop taking a million years to die and also please stop killing my back row thanks. I actually just gave up and fought it again when I was way too high a level for it. That made it a little easier, to say the least. I think he's a bit less powerful than the Hollow Queen bu...

Re: Character Naming

I already posted most of the names that I distributed throughout my guild in another thread, and most of them are Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy characters. I named my Bushi "Red XIII" (because when I saw the alternate design for the third Bushi, I just HAD to.) Named my Arcanist "Myst...

Re: Maze help

This isn't really a maze help question but I didn't want to make a new topic for it I was wondering if having an NPC in your party like Wufan/Kibagami would have them speak up during story segments? Or are they just lifeless units after you recruit them? Lifeless. If they're involved in any sort of...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

Regarding your Fortress: That skill isn't what you think it is. Healing Step is a cheaper version of the medic's Party Heal that can only be used while a Waltz is active -- which is still nice, considering it's a cheaper Party Heal , but I still feel I should inform you it's not like a ...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

@Zamisk: Don't feel badly. I got through the 1st stratum, then put the game down for a week and 1/2 to play through Fire Emblem 4 (which is a pretty great installment in the series, by the way.) I'm just now at the end of the 3rd stratum, while everyone else is on post-game content X_X Now, about su...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

About the 2nd stratum boss: Did you guys really find Leg Binds to be helpful? Personally, I tried to keep her head bound constantly, and blinded with my NS. I largely left the other Hollows alone, as they were often bound by the Hood Circle as well. Speaking of binds, I'm thinking of "training&...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

Well, I just suffered about the worst experience you possibly could in this game. My party WAS (due to data loss) 28-31, and I didn't think that entering the Hollow Queen's chambers would automatically trigger the encounter. Of course, as you all know, it does. Ir's not like my p...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

1. Meet a gold FOE that I know I can kill. 2. Start whittling it down, making sure to use Holy Bless or whatever (+50% EXP). 3. The 2nd last turn before it dies it OHKO's my entire back row. 4. The last turn before it dies it kills my Landsknecht and Dancer. 5. My goddamn Fortress takes all the EXP...

Re: Doing a Let's Play...

Even though there may be a 3DS emulator, I highly doubt that it functions well, if at all.

There IS, however, some device that allows you to directly capture your 3DS. It will cost you quite a bit, though (~$250).

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

Can anyone explain to me how linking works for the landsknecht? I can't figure it out. -_- The link itself (fire link, ice link, electric link) will be a single attack of whatever element, by the Landsknecht. Whomever (physically) attacks next, will use an attack of that element, as well. It's as s...

Re: Guild Profiles/Stories

Eh. Guild Radiata (named after Radiata Stories, an extremely obscure, PS2 JRPG) Slicky - Fortress: ...it's pretty obvious. I assumed this internet moniker a few years ago, but I've been wanting to change it, recently. Marisa - Landsknecht: after a Myrmidon/Swordmaster from Fire Emblem 8. Sonya - Nig...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

Hmm. Well then, based on what you guys are saying, I should probably start investing in Refresh for my medic.

(I'm only on the Pillars; just upgraded the airship.)

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

The 2nd floor boss isn't that difficult. As long as you have a fairly standard party (it's sort of difficult not to), and have trained decent skills on them, you should be able to inhibit it sufficiently. Blind is probably the most useful affliction in the game. At least, at this point. Ensure that ...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

Well, I just got the game myself, and I'm currently grinding in the Small Orchard. I hope that the..."adventurer's pouch" (for lack of a better term, your current item storage), is increased in capacity, because it's somewhat bothersome having to dash back to the atelier whenever you're re...
