T-Teclo?! o_o :O IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU, AGAIN!! OMG!! :3 You should make a post in the Welcoming Thread so we can greet you back properly!! Haha, well I was just trying to sneak back in and hope no one would notice. I'm actually pretty flattered to be remembered. Long story short, I lost the intern...

What do people think about the idea of there being dungeons on the various islands of the sea map? So you get to a certain place and you have a 4-level dungeon? I'd say that each floor shouldn't be as hard as a normal floor or it'd possibly get a bit tedious to think you're working on these side-map...

Hmm, how do I get to the tower in the first sea quest? I've just got the item that lets me move 8 times before returning and I got next to the island that the tower's on but it wouldn't let me land. There's all that conveyor belt water behind the tower island but it's more than 8 moves away.

OK, thanks for the info and advice. Another question, or more like a request for confirmation of something, is the Arbalist skill Strafe set so that it only does X-Y hits if that many targets exist? For example, if you have Strafe level 1, it's meant to do 2-3 hits. I just used it on a single tough ...

Haven't played EO or been on the forums for ages now. For one thing, I can't remember what the difference between going on the front and back row is. Is it simply that front row people are more likely to be attacked? I'm particularly curious because it almost seems like the Hoplites/Phalanx are mean...

Well you see, I totally agree with you when it comes to MGS3. The reason is that in MGS3 you're meant to be one of the best soldiers of all time (soon to become THE best soldier of all time) but you're constantly hindered by shitty camera controls (unless you play Subsistance or whatever the upgrade...

Well as for the fixed camera, I think it's more of an artistic thing and an atmosphere thing than a gameplay one. In the older REs you were in a horror film, that was the intent as you can see from the RE1 opening STARRING BARRY BURTON! You'd turn a corner and OHMYFUCKINGGODZOMBIEDOGS. In RE4 it's t...

I don't like cats myself. If you take mammals to be somewhat emotional, family/group-based animals, cats just don't fit in. They're more like lizards in fur coats. You get instances of things like owners dying of old age so their dog guards their body and won't let anyone near it, or they sit there ...

There seems to be some sort of trend of turning the RotTK characters into women. There's an artist who seems to do nothing but gender-swap those characters. Incidentally, I actually bought volume 1 of the story but couldn't get into it because the translation used different names from the Koei games...

I'd like to get back into this game. It's very playable in short bursts whereas EO tends to play better in longer sessions and Dragon Quest VIII, by it's very design, is near impossible to play in short bursts. For those that have never played a Dragon Quest game; you can only save at churches - the...

Man, IE sucks. And to think that there are still loads of (usually Japanese) sites that either insist you use IE or just plain require it (probably through artificial means).

Oh no, am I "The rape and bondage guy" now? :) But yeah, if you remove things like "people restrained in some way" or "girl looks upset" from hentai, there isn't a lot left usually. I mean, by way of an example, there's a Minami-ke picture of one of the girls having her...

I'm also slowly getting through EO2, and for the same reason as Maxine. Since I started playing EO2 I've been distracted by DQIII which then stirred memories of DQVIII (which I didn't quite complete when it came out because the disc took a fatal scratch) so I bought that and played that. While that ...

Yeah, the "adults speaking in a squeaky voice to sound like kids" thing is something that plagues US dubs of both anime and games. I had a feeling the bosses would get a lot harder while the enemies stay the same. It's also quite disappointing that magic becomes useless, apart from heal. I...
