I understand why it's the case, but it gets frustrating where Japan gets all the nice merchandise that goes along with the games. You just don't see that where I am (NA).

And as for it being too soon, there is no timeframe on the EO for the 3DS, it could be a couple years down the road. I am pretty sure it's just Atlus saying "We are willing/planning to make EO for 3DS".
