You could try to find something that kills you after the battle. That would at least save your mapping progress. :3

I couldn't find one of the ankhs because of that. Need to pay more attention.

I'm a compulsive saver. And my immediate memory is horrible, so sometimes I'll save, look away for a second, forget if I saved, and save again just to be sure. Sometimes three times. I saw it at a game store, but it didn't look interesting enough to buy (the German version package makes it look like another average bland RPG...) Then my mother bought it for me when it was on sale somewhere because she thought I might like it, and I did. <3
