His super-cheery personality, TOTALLY A LIE I SWEAR Absolutely. He's stated that he hates keeping up the facade, and that he's never really happy because he's exhausted from things that go on behind the scenes, like dealing with other factions who murder his people etc But if you didn't get the &qu...

:( I'm a guy (and straight!) and I totally loved Shugo Chara! to death, to be honest. Sure, it was be beyond silly kiddy (well, barring the whole plot making kids into emo wrecks and Utau's character) but it's pretty and Amu is totally awesome. Well since I haven't read it myself I'll probably give...

One of the things I always liked in Pokemon was how the legendaries were always super significant in the development of the world as we know it. In D/P we have a pokemon that is basically God. I think a new storyline should focus less on team X trying to harness the power of a legendary and take ove...

If we learned anything from prohibition (1920's) it's that people who wanna get drunk GET DRUNK. In the same vein, people who wanna get high...get high. Making alcohol illegal only made criminals out of good people. All of those gang wars wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for prohibition. If we le...

aaand I somehow managed to forget the Haruhi light novels. For those of you who haven't read them, I recommend looking up some translations. Many translations are butt awful, but I got over that pretty fast, as books play like a movie in my head when I read them, and odd ways of saying common phrase...

Hm...this is tough. I was never good at posting favorites. I have seen very few animes from beginning to end anyway, and I don't know if I ever read an entire manga series...I've only been REALLY into anime for a few years (but man did it come hard and fast) but I always liked it as a kid on cartoon...

Ah, I've loved these kinds of shooters since I played Gradius on the SNES as a kid, and I've had a lot of interest in this series for a long time. Unfortunately, I never got around to downloading them. Certain situations keep me from having internet on my own computer (It's not that I'm ashamed of t...

Besides manga, the last book I read was The Gunslinger, which was my first Stephen King novel. It wasn't much of a thriller so much as just awesome fantasy. I loved it. Right now I'm reading Hammerfall by CJ Cherryh. I wanted a scifi novel written by a woman, so I picked this baby up from the librar...
