No, it's not acceptable unless they are scans that are offered on such official sites like Amazon or Atlus itself, or even RPGGamer as an example.

Also, Atlus staff are VERY big forum-goers. I chatted with Nich Maragos (project lead of EO series) briefly on my LJ Blog when I mentioned that I was excited to purchase EO when it was coming out in May. o_O Nich responded a few days later - this was when I was just a Zelda fansite and knew very little about Atlus.

There have also been sightings others places like GFaqs and I'm sure others know more. *Shrugs* For all I know one of our members could be one. When they are on forums - including their own, they are not allowed to publicize that it's them - at least that's what I hear? Granted it's been a few years since I went on their forums or (that I know of) chatted with any of them.

*shifty eyes* They are always watching....

Also, other than the EO Wiki... we are the only fansite. It's not that hard for them to check up on us. *shrugs*

Any restrictions on blood/gore stuff in images/videos? (Yes, videos with gore DO exist. Not that I've come across any)

Or is that another "it's fine, but will make a rule if it becomes a problem" situation?

So long as it's in the NSFW section if it's that gorey, is hidden behind spoiler tags and is in line with US and UK law it's fine. If there is a problem, we'll make some rule up.

*nods* What Archaic said. If it's just bloody and slightly grotesque, I don't think it should bother people too much (me being a fan of the first three movies of Saw and the Higurashi anime series). But if it starts showing entrails and things of a really twisted nature, then I do think it should fall under what Archaic said. Place it in the NSFW section with a spoiler tag and warning.

If you aren't sure, send me the picture first. If you place it up in the forum and I think maybe it should be in the NSFW section, I'll let you know.

Just think of "common courtesy" really.

I don't know if it helps, but the forum is age set at mid-teens and older. Which means you don't have to worry about if the content of your post is going to offend some ten year old.

Doubt I'll be posting anything with blood/gore. Just wanted to make sure though, since there wasn't any mention of it here.

And Higurashi is win. One of the few series I've watched more than once.
