Many things about the kitsune is mercurial, from their moods to their treatment of humans, to even the abilities some possess. Kitsune have a depth of personality as deep or even deeper than those of other Japanese characters. The reason for this, according to one source, is that the kitsune is the Trickster, in Japanese culture. They are there to teach those around them lessons.

if we're going to update the rules about ROMs, may I also suggest including games made available through all new download services? (i.e. the Playstation Network or XBOX LIVE Arcade) after the success of selling classic games on the Virtual Console, Sony and Microsoft soon followed suit.
^ and by this, I don't mean XBOX games (which are not ROMs, but ISOs, btw.), as they can still be easily found at Gamestop. As for PS1 games (also ISOs), they are rather hard to find, with only a select few on the PSN. What I was really getting at was the older games (like the Sega Genesis game; Gunstar Heroes, for example) that the PSN now offers.
However, WiiWare titles like Cave Story, despite getting a port/remake on the Wii, the original creator (Daisuke Amaya/Pixel) and Nicalis still allow (even, on occasion, encourage) people to download/play the freeware version.
Also, some generally accepted terms:
- ROM: Image data of a game (Cartridge)
- ISO: Image data of a game (Disc)

I was just using the WiiStore as an example and the rest to be implied, however, I will have no problem spelling it out in more depth to avoid confusion.
Also I feel there's a big difference between "freeware," which is obviously suppose to be free and downloadable, to an illegal ROM. do you really think I should clarify this, too? I think most people can make the distinction?

Well, from what I've seen, not all freeware games remain so "free" after getting a remake/port.
But, I doubt that not clarifying the terms of "freeware" titles would cause much confusion.
I, too think that most people could make the distinction, and I'm not sure if we'd want to go into a case-by-case basis for every freeware game on the net XD

isabelyes is correct - the definition of pornography does need to be tightened up a bit - would a blurred penis be allowed on pre-watershed TV - unlikely. So really it shouldn't be allowed in the main parts of the forums. Clothed individuals are what we want, even if it's a bit scantly clad :: looks at Daphne in the Brilliant Blue as an example ::.
