Re: New Upcoming Site Design!! Also Facebook and Twitter
Ummm... yes, but I'm not looking for sprites. I'm looking for character art.

What's the difference? Size? The character images in that archive are about the same size as the ones you already have on the preview. And with transparent backgrounds too.
The alternative would be to get the Flash files from the Atlus EO2 site and make screen copies of them. You could extract the JPEGs from them, but those have black backgrounds. The shape info is in the Flash file itself. Those character images are larger though.

Those sprites from Nyleveia are the just about the same size as the character images you're currently using in your circle, so I don't see why you can't just use those.
If you want some somewhat higher-resolution character art with smoother lines than the sprites, then I've packaged up some of the character class art from Atlus' EO2 site in a similar way as I for the EO3 stuff.

EDIT: LOL I didn't notice Kimiko posted pretty much the same thing I just did while I was out extracting the character class art from the EO2 site. :P

Nope.
Clipping. There's not a single character in those sprites that are not clipped in some way. There are foots cut, as well as swords, and clothes.
:\ I dunno much about grabbing from flash files.
*sigh* Maybe I'll have to figure out how to cut from the backgrounds in a decent manner.

It's probably just that it didn't load in time or something. I do want to go back and reduce the sizes of some of my images and also do a few preloading scripts.
If you do see it again, please attempt to take a screenshot so I can try to analyze and it fix it if needed.

*sigh* Well... I got a good chunk of work done this weekend. Here's hoping that I'll be able to get some more work done throughout the week. *sigh* -_- God I hate my busy work schedule.

Ah, I see. I tried only one file with swfextract and got a JPEG with a black background, which is kinda useless. I didn't notice there were PNGs.
I use shell scripts so rarely these days that I have to spend a lot of time reading man pages to get the loops and greps/cuts right every time I do. Maybe I'm just getting old :/

Wow... that went quicker than I was expecting. I'm already done with the new forum and gallery header. You guys wanna see? These will replace the top half of the forum and the (soon-to-be-fixed) gallery.
It's shorter. By quite a bit. And there's much less going on. It just serves as a portal to the different parts of the site network. I made it with the idea of "simple" and ... basically ignorable. And requires a little less scrolling.
Here's a rough example of what it will look like attached to the forums (obviously just cut and pasted in):
Let me know what you guys think.

It's not that I missed the news section. I'm eradicating it. The idea is to promote the facebook and the twitter and besides... I dunno... I just always felt that during our downtimes, it just kinda emphasized our LACK of news.
