I haven't visited that channel in ages. I think one of the main problems with it was time zone differences. Also, IIRC, it was mostly agreed that keeping most communications on the main forum would be more inclusive and help avoid odd discontinuities in conversation to those without IRC access or who aren't on it 24/7 to record everything.

Oh, that's a good point. : O I'm on Steam chat more often anyway. I tend to forget about the IRC and when I do remember, no one is on.

The IRC channel didn't always work on my computer, and when it works I find nobody online. So no complaints about its absence, since I'm fine with posting on the forum to talk to everyone.

honestly IRC is kind of inferior at this point, unless there's like a million people talking at a time. you can do the same thing with skype groups
