the way images and stuff work

Is there any way that clicking on an image can make it load in a different tab rather than a new one?
Also, is it possible for that functionality to be disabled for signatures so that images could be links to different URLs? Would that cause trouble?

For sigs you can just add url tags to make images links to something other than the images themselves. See my sig for example.

thats weird, I thought I had added a URL tag to my signature.
Is this not correct?

Your stream signature signature links through to stream signature.
In terms of a different tab, we can change it but it would be for all links and I do not think that will go down hugely well. We can introduce another specific URL BBCode that can do it, it's a two minute job but is it really worthwhile?

thats weird. when i click my signature it just goes to the image.
would it be bad for all links to open on different tabs? thats the norm in plenty of places on the internet. unless you mean forum navigation links too

Oh, I see. For images in sigs you need to use [img-sig] instead of [img].
