Re: Great Site
An on-topic post, quite unusual for Zammy.
Maxine, witht he new ItL Booknerds thing, when I try hit the "mark all posts as read" button to clear all the general discussion thread posts I don't want to read, I always hit the Booknerd club one instead. Would it be possible to put a button at the very top that clears both?
Helpful diagram of what I want to hit below:
Ok, seriously though;

Re: Great Site
I'll try to look and see if there's anything I might be able to do with that and come up with some sort of solution. ^_^

Re: Great Site
I never posted on here before, but here is my two cents:
I love this fandom. I really do. And this site does show me why. When requesting, people don't question you, and they also give you suggestions as they go to show how both of you can improve as writers and artists. This fandom isn't like other fandoms (like the Ace Attorney one.) Nobody gets nitpicky and the site itself resizes excessively large pictures so you don't have to. I think the fan sites I have been to can learn a thing or two from admins as well (like how to keep active on more than just the technical side of the forums, and not just to accept birthday gifts).
Other things are that you guys don't have a request thread. I think that is great because there isn't going to be a huge flood of that on the artwork thread.
I realize when people have a request thread, people become a lot more needy (especially me who wanted really good quality PW style sprites only to have people ask me why I can't do it myself. It is pretty pathetic now that you think about it...) but here I don't really ask as much. I worry my creative juices have been drained out of me but then again, revamping it shouldn't be too hard as long as I have time on my side!
Once again, this site showed me a better side to fandoms, and makes me realize why I love being around people that know more about EO than I do because of it!

Re: Great Site
they might not resize by default for mobile, but I doubt most sites are optimized for Opera, even great sites

Re: Great Site
o_o I... I didn't realize Opera was still around... that's like telling me Netscape is still around... didn't that get phased out?
As for redesigning. Sorry, I just don't have the time. If someone (like Archaic) wants to invest in the time to figure out that's fine, but I've got my hands full between work and my novel.

Re: Great Site
Opera was never phased out, in fact I think Nintendo browsers might still be Opera-based. It's just that only a small amount of people use it, so most websites won't bother optimizing for it.
