I think there should be a "New Posts" Link and it will display all the new posts.

I was going to wait to post an answer to this until I had better researched it but I don't want you to get a wrong impression.
But, I think there is a way to do this. At the top of every forum is a "subscribe forum" link. I THINK if you click that, all new posts will show up in your User Control Panel.
I'm not sure. I'm looking into it. When I find out more, I'll let you know.

Nah, doesn't work the way that I thought it did. :\ Actually, pretty useless if you ask me. Maybe a better thing if the forumers were a lot larger than mine are.
*shrugs* I dunno if there is something like you are wanting but I'll look into it sometime this week and see if there are any quick solutions, but, seriously, since my forums aren't exactly all that busy I really don't see a need for it so if it's something too high tech or fancy I'm not going to bother. ^_^;
