Oh polearms, why are you the best at everything? Cutting, smashing, hooking, cleaving, piercing...
Anyway it does seem that they're just getting the main protagonists/(popular) antagonists on the roster, if that makes sense, so I'm mostly thinking about lords. (spoiler) . I also don't particularly mind clones, if they're just partial or feel different enough and not just "LANDMASTER LANDMASTER LANDMASTER" again.

No love for Zelos? Blasphemy.
I like the thought of an Axe user in Smash, though. If I recall correctly, in Radiant Dawn Ike gets an A Rank in Axes when he promotes. Or put Boyd in. I also like the thought of Nepheenee though. She would probably have long reach, but you'd have to be pin point accurate with the lance. That's assuming she has more thrusting attacks than slashing attacks. And I forgot all about Neku, he should be in as well.
We also have to think that Megaman has a very real opportunity to get in. If he does make it in, how would you want him to behave? Classic Megaman? X Megaman? Battle Network? Or

I don't even like Fire Emblem.

My Unit/Avatar/Chris/Robin is also a spellcaster. Should also be mentioned that it is possible she has existed in multiple games (could be the same one in FE7 and FE13), though that is just a theory. Of all the spellcasters, I would like Micaiah. Not my favourite character, but Radiant Dawn had a robust selection of staves and light magic to take inspiration from.

I went into a Gamestop today to pre-order EOIV. (I know, I know, but I wanted to ensure I got the pre-order bonus and they were the only place that would confirm getting it.) Anyways, the I walked up to the counter the guy tried to sell me the new Fire Emblem. When I told him no thanks and mentioned not enjoying Sacred Stones, he started talking down on me about how they were just too hard for some people. Then I ordered EOIV. >:I
