The marketing began to annoy me when the teaser phase dragged on and on. And when they finally put the site up, there was a bunch of fancy clicky-clicky-quizzy "hipness" before I could even get in.

Meh. Meh, I say.

They have to market it that way, really, if they want it to sell. It's a puzzle game. Nobody wants to buy puzzles so might as well tease and fanservice as much as possible while hiding the game away.

I pre-ordered the deluxe edition of Catherine last Thursday on Amazon in the same general motion of pre-ordering a Vita and Dragon's Crown. I do hope there is a Japanese audio option, though... and too bad there's no PSP version, which I would get instead if it were available.

I did feel slightly disappointed when I first realised it was a puzzle game. Not that I dislike puzzle games, just that I was under the impression it was some kind of mystery/detective VN or RPG.

SO! Catherine is now out. I'm going to wait for people to tell me how... raunchy it gets before I decide to purchase or not. I mean... if my mom's sitting in the same room on her computer is she going to be giving me weird looks and am I going to be feeling uncomfortable and praying that she doesn't look at the screen?
