so i went ahead and bought DS 2 today. I must say: a lot of differences from DS 1. Although i never did make it past day 3 in DS 1, cause it didn't belong to me and i had to give it up T_T, i'm loving it so far. I've been playing for like the past 8 hours and i'm barely on day 2 lol. From the previous replies, you guys seem to know a lot so is there anything i should know before i do something stupid?

Hinako kinda reminds me of Midori but she's not annoying... yet? And i'm having second thoughts about having saved Keita... oh and "Pervert!" i died on that! This game is just so... *sigh*

There's absolutely zero positives to not saving anyone. So ... save everyone. Even if they're a twat.

Besides that, fuse a lot? Devil Survivor's difficulty is a bit harder than DS1 due to level design but it's still entirely possible to just outright beat it out by being smart with your demons. Don't hold onto demons for nearly 10 levels just because; replace them. They're temporary. Treat them as such.

Anyway, Day 5: "Act sexy for me!"

I've had Thor for awhile too (Level 35 on him) but he's about to get replaced by Take-Mikazuchi; Multi-Strike + Pierce for the goddamn win.

Also, getting to the point of setting up Drain + Holy Dance to everyone. Gonna be so broken soon

goddamn day 6 boss was such a pain :/ nearly had to upgrade all of my demons and even then it was a nightmare >.< Hardest boss yet.

Go through day 3, part where you had to intercept looters went okay when I had my MC with devil speed on.


Go find Jungo, he destroys the guy in front of him and nearly dies to another person but I got there just in time.


And when the battle was nearly done, he decides, without any demons, to go rush the guy who had all of his.
