I want it, but I'm still put off by the visuals.

The visuals are definitely something that I haven't seen before in a Zelda game, but I really like them none the less.

This and WW HD are on preorder for me. Both are awesome and I'm really looking forward to ALttP 2 .

Re: A Link to the Past 2
Whether or not I get Wind Waker HD depends on whether or not they have an enticing offer for new Wii U adopters. For LttP2, I still need to be convinced to get it on release. The last few portable Legend of Zelda games has left me a rather timid, even if they finally got rid of the horrible touch controls.
Edit - After today's Nintendo Direct, I am convinced. :)
Anyone else find it interesting how the magic metre has been modernized? It seems things cost more magic than they did previously, but it regenerates naturally. Bombs also take up magic now.
I like this system, because exploration and battle is more about thinking than attrition.

Re: A Link to the Past 2
I'm a little (read: massively) disappointed that they went old school with this one. Would have liked something like Oot or MM with upgraded controls. I somehow grew tired of this kind of Zelda, even if it has some new gimmicks. A second sidescroller would have been nice for a change, too..

Re: A Link to the Past 2
I love OoT and enjoyed it in the 3DS but my preference for that type of game is always on a home console. I prefer top down or 2.5D games on handheld.
I'm really glad that they're exploiting the classic game style so well. It's nice to see an evolution in the sense of magic being used properly. It'll be very interesting to see if there's a decent storyline that's fleshed out and how it links to ALttP and LA.
Would've preferred it on the Wii U though.

Re: A Link to the Past 2
I prefer the classic, more simplified gameplay on any platform. Even today I still struggle with the camera on the 3d games. :/
It is fortunate that they are doing both the old style and new to appeal to both camps.
