just need a quick opinion...

So my 3ds ageing about 3 years now is finally hitting the crapper. Sadly I don't think it will last past February. So here is my question, should I buy an XL, search for another older model, or just hope and wait the new 3ds comes out sooner than later?

Status update: dealt with the pc stuff (they do ask for credit card info to validate age so yeah...) after that I caved and bought a 2ds as my cheapest option (which I ended up liking more than I expected.) After the new 3ds reveal I got kinda irritated but I usually wait a year or 2 to wait for prices to go down. I switched the pc password to the least forgettable code ever (ex:1234) Thanks for the advice sorry for any hassle or anything. :)
