when all these recent messages started, it was litterally the same time i picked up the game again. getting used to the systems again, no circle pad pro, and testing weapons again. had fun with DS, but i want to learn even more weapons besides IG

It'll be hard to go back to fighting him the old fashioned way, it was so satisfying in 3u to just jump in after him and kick his ass on his home turf.

Decided to start up a new file on 4U and have been using both Dual Blades and Switchaxe this time. I am probably making a mistake in seeing how far I can go with Caravan quests until the game forces me to start doing Gathering Hall quests.

I heard Monster Hunter X has you carving/gathering by holding the button down rather than mashing it. Opinion?

I'd have to see it or experience it first hand, but it doesn't upset me one bit. If that change fixes the BS part of R+X+A on certain weapons so I'm no longer carving or gathering accidentally than it's for the best.

I've been playing 4 again, but with my new 3ds, i can finally try out bowguns! Decided that Making a high rank Gore Megala HBG was the best idea, and it's been working out quite well!
