Nintendy Switch
So, I was actually really impressed. Hopefully this is the big success Nintendo needs.

Re: Nintendy Switch
I want one.
It comes with shitty data-storage, but at least it isn't proprietary.

Re: Nintendy Switch
a lot of people are mad about the price, but that's the same price the wii U sold for...adjusting for inflation $300 is pretty cheap for a new console! those joycon controllers are 50 individually, too.

Re: Nintendy Switch
Personally I'm dissapointed at what I've been reading about but eh.. still I really hope that it sells well.

Re: Nintendy Switch
I'm going to buy a used Wii U on the cheap once the switch comes out to play Zelda and hope I don't regret it if I want a future Switch exclusive.
Open world Zelda still sounds like a dream come true.

Re: Nintendy Switch
So I actually played the thing.
The little I played of Zelda was super slow but it doesn't surprise me, it's clearly not a game that'll instantly show you every possibility, 15 minutes isn't enough to judge. But the potential is here, and the game is super punitive, you really have to act smart and that's great. Bows are OP.
The controller though. I played with and urgh. The second stick and the 4 left buttons are way too far, so good job using the camera. I'll probably buy a Pro Controller, for Zelda if I don't buy it on WiiU (if it's an uber inferior) and for Xenoblade, I moved the camera way too often in X and can't imagine with this stick.
Oh and Arms is good, I was pretty surprised, I destroyed the guy against me because I was spamming dashes, stopping that is probably what the curve your punches mechanic is for

Re: Nintendy Switch
I probably won't get the Switch at launch because there aren't enough games for it that I'm interested in yet, but I'll be getting it eventually. Arms, Zelda and Mario are the main games that I'm looking forward to. I hope it doesn't tank commercially like the Wii U did.

Re: Nintendy Switch
so far it's already doing better than the Wii U, Gamestop's first run of preorders is totally sold out.

I might wait a while because I'm cheap.
