Also, note that nothing is as Survival-Horror as The Dark Spire.

To maybe clear up misconceptions, The Dark Spire's an old-school RPG ala Etrian Odyssey (though closer to an AD&D ruleset).

[spoiler]And, incidentally, isn't all that hard. Probably easier than the EO games though the dungeon is rougher to navigate due to the pretty useless map compared to EO.[/spoiler]

And for me, I'm not that big of a fan of survival horror but, even if I was, Rule of Rose is still pretty abysmal.

Hmm. I think that TDS is harder then EO.
And, no, it isn't really Survival Horror, but...
Well, when you walk in it, every step can suddenly throw you into an encounter with some 'creepy' guys who will kill you before you can even try to escape.

It's just that I was sweating bullets when I played it the first time. Hell, yes.
You should try it out, though. The music and graphics are just wicked.
