I can't remember where it said it or if it's something that I just "understood". It might be in the Dictionary on the game. But, shooting the evoker at yourself causes the severe emotional stress that's needed for a Persona to awaken and come to its ego's aide. I know it was also listed somewhere in the Dictionary that if the person is strong enough, an evoker isn't needed (I'm waiting for this to appear somewhere in the story as it should be fairly interesting if it does).

That would explain the name "evoker"

I just got the soundtrack "OST" its pretty good but an aquired taste 8)

My first reaction to the game's tracks was "rap" (which I hate, so it wasn't a good conotation) and "crappy". However... *sigh* I must confess that... I have started humming them and singing them while playing. Especially the one that plays while you are outside of school grounds. That one and the one that plays during the "monorail" scene.

Already finished P3 and P3 FES when they came out in Japanese 2007. They were very enjoyable games. I cannot describe it.
