I'm reminded of a certain popular RPG that I hate; Yggdra Union.

Oh wait. It's the same developer. And the same fictional world. And the same beautiful graphics.

... I hate this demo. ;-; It's only a tutorial so maybe the full release is enjoyable.

The japanese release is confusing and I remember spending the better part of two hours whittling away at an enemy before realizing my stupidity (specials dur dur dur >>). God knows how many times I restarted the first level by now.

I want to say there's only one save slot. I'll check after my finals today and sink a few hours into the game now that I'm not quite as dumb.

[spoiler]In what world was Yggdra Union popular? It and Riviera were cult hits >>[/spoiler]

My only grievance with the potential BULLETHELLMADNESS is the hazy look of the game will probably fuck me over at some point.

Looks to be single save slot as I'm given no option to choose where to save when finishing missions.

Also, I forgot how confusing the post-mission screen was. Christ, there are so many boxes.

I finished the entire Japanese game around the turn of 2009, so feel free to ask me for advice.

And yes, there is only one save slot, unfortunately.

Be prepared to use Scene Select for grinding if you want to do that.
