Just got a response from my DM about adjusting things to make the campaign he is running more fun. I am glad he was so candid with my critisism, because I'm so used to being blamed for playing a broken character (I stack multipliers to the point a lot of things get 1 shotted and I am a tank).

He has mentioned that he is feeling burned out, after being our DM for a full year, now. So, I understand a bit, but this ahs been going on ever since my original character became a Mage-Tank, in the first campaign.

The gist of what I told him:

Defense up, Power down.

And scaling encounters to the party average as opposed to just my character.

I am really looking forward to next week's session, now that I've gotten that off my chest with him and want to get my two friends back into the campaign. One of them was getting annoyed with how he kept getting 1-shotted regardless of how high he raised his defenses.
