No shave November...or, as I like to call it, a month just like any other. Maybe I should unleash the beauty of my face upon you guys.

I'm using it as an excuse not to shave for a month, but my facial hair is beyond shitty. I'm not too serious about it, if I get a date or something this goes right away.

Appreciate the hair! I shave like...up to four times a year. I like beards.

I haven't been clean shaven since December of 2006, when my beard and I had to break up for a day because of a drunken agreement I made with an Australian friend. Other than that we have been happily together since 2004.

I've been letting it get a little more serious these days as a way of intimidating youth.

I notice that these things are always about not doing something you normally do. Never about doing something you normally don't. Like shaving every day for a month instead of letting your facial hair grow as it pleases. I suspect it's just an excuse to be lazy.

Well, there's National Novel Writing Month. Lots of people do it who don't write much during the rest of the year.

I like the compliment a stranger idea, though it could be hazardous. There have been plenty of times I've wanted to compliment someone on the bus or in the grocery store but thought better of it because it probably would've come across as flirting. o_o;

I like doing 30-day trials of things I don't normally do, just to see if I'd like to keep doing it. One such trial was going vegetarian (which has stuck), and then another was spending less time on the internet (which has also stuck and made me more productive). I've got a list started. :3

Maybe we could do a Pay For The Guy Behind You In Line (Anonymously If Possible) Month or something, like if you're in a coffee shop or somewhere that it wouldn't be a huge purchase.

I thought this was no shave Novemember or whatever the high school/college students call it.

For that type of month it would be "Put more effort into everything Month"

I think I'd fail pretty quick, but probably worth trying.
