...I wonder, just how many Star Wars fans find the Battle of Hoth easily the most epic battle in the Star Wars movies? And the fact its the first level of Shadows of the Empire (the first video game I ever played on the N64) made it even more my favorite. XD

Part of me wants it redone in CG. But I definitely prefer the real models used in the old space battles to the new CG'd up ones, no matter how epic the beginning of Episode III was.
I'm just talking about the stop-motion walkers though, those should be CG. Except for the cool scene where Luke almost gets stomped by one, that looked real

Re. Redoing SW scenes from episodes IV to VI in CG: I think I like it the way it is with real models. And it was really cool to watch the production documentaries about building some of those starship models by kitbashing plastic car/truck scale models.
