Looks like random chara portraits pop up on the front page like before, for example there's a pink haired girl and WHAT'S WITH THAT RIDICULOUS OUTFIT [hide]I think in 2020 there is a shortage of not only food but also clothes[/hide]

...If you can apply any character portrait to any class now, wonder if there are still battle animations like before?

Niinou says on Twitter that flowaro no longer do damage! I think that was probably the #1 complaint of the last game, having to lug around a Knight all the time or else take constant damage from walking around.

[hide]Samurai[/hide] seems to be the Defensive oriented class, [hide]Trickster[/hide] is Ranged DPS, [hide]Destroyer[/hide] hugs bunnies what the fuck do you think they do, [hide]Psychic[/hide] is the caster douchebag, and [hide]Hacker[/hide] is adorable.

Really though, I like the character design to a point; the in-game models are basically dogshit though. To be fair, I didn't like 7th Dragon's original design much either (or, rather, it didn't stand out).

But, the biggest part of the reveal:



3 character parties. Which I guess does mean it's just the 5 classes [hide]of two classes to never be used ever[/hide].

Also, did somebody really go and add hide tags to the bits explaining the premise of 2020? Really?

Well, since Niinou can't use the Planet of the Apes card a third time in a row (can he?), I hope there's at least some kind of decent plot twist.

Scy, why are you censoring the class names? I mean, Samurai is right there in the image, and more than likely they'll be plastered over all news articles. And the website.

So is the fighting gonna be like eo were you dont see your avatars fight. Just effects?

If it's anything like the first game, it will show chibi versions of your characters in battle as they make attacks, but will be viewed first-person.
