@Christmas/Family
I love my family. I love having family -- when I got married I was so excited to get even more family, and my brother is engaged so now I'll have another sister-in-law, too! *___* I always wanted a sister! I got a new phone number today (a Virginia one) and texted a whole bunch of people, including several cousins. Turns out that my old high school best friend and one of my favorite cousins are both coming home for Christmas, so I'll get to see them, too! I'm glad I'm taking 11 days so I'll be sure to see everyone...
Anyway.
Stopped by an "Old School" game store today. They sell everything from Atari to modern stuff. I chatted with the dudes behind the counter a bit; they were friendly, asked what'd brought me in, what kind of systems I owned -- I told them I owned a NES/SNES/64/GameCube but that my husband wouldn't let me have them in the house.
I ended up buying Riveria: The Promised Land for the GBA. I have no idea what it's about or if it's any good; it's an Atlus game and the guy behind the counter said it was a pretty good RPG. And it was $3.
For that price, yeah!

..... and you didn't just send it in for repairs, why? Granted it's still a nice chunk of money out of your pocket but it's still cheaper than a whole new unit - which you might end up getting if they can't fix the problem. *shrugs*
Kino: Riviera is really good! I found it very enjoyable but... I never finish playing it. o_o Not because the game sucks but because I can never decide which girl and/or the girl I want dies or I make a wrong choice and I can feel her dislike for me. T-T Dammit...
It really is a VERY nice game, though.
