I don't like playing dwarves or halflings, so it's usually elf or human for me. It's fun being snobby.

I think that Eberron has one of the coolest depictions of them, but I also think that the social effects of living for that long are typically glossed over. The Forlorn of Pathfinder are at least slightly an exception.

humans are the best mechanically but also really boring. The only one I've played is an evil racist.

human fighters... theyre just too good!

and at least dwarves can... oh... i dont know... take a punch =P
cant think when yer dead =P

and ive always found race to be irrelevant in alot of cases.... unless its like a racist campaign or something like darksun where only certain races exist
they might be "boring" but they make an easy canvas for roleplaying over dice rolls....... in my opinion

i feel like humans are boring because they AREN'T a canvas for roleplaying. when you're an orc, in a proper setting you are gonna be thrown out of half the towns you visit. you HAVE to role play. as a human you are basically able to go anywhere you want. even elves like humans half the time.
