Chat Thread: Sticky or Not?

Do you think the general purpose chat thread (of the ever-changing-title) should be stickied?

The frequent title changes can be confusing (as it was for me earlier on,) and having it stay in one place could be good. The stickiness would be useful as an indicator of its special status, and although it hasn't been a problem to date, pinning the general chat thread might encourage its use over the creation of new random chat threads cluttering the forum.

On the other hand, the above argument could be a slippery slope to pinning several of the other general, ongoing threads like the purchases, food and music threads....

In the end, I don't have a strong preference either way.

Considering that we are getting a slew of new members, I really do want to keep that topic stickied. I think it's going to confuse the hell out of them when we start changing its name again. We are ok with it but that's because we are use to it.

Entirely disagree with telling people it's the chat thread, where's the fun in that. It needs to be a right of passage to understand that we change the thread's title at a whim.

XD I'm agreeing with Archaic on this one, though, however, you will note that if they have read the rules, they will notice that I sorta "explained" the thread. :3 So I kinda want someone to ask "what the hell" just so I can shout ":O YOU DIDN'T READ THE RULES, DID YOU?!"
