What anime are you currently watching?

LOL!

KoR is something I picked up back in the Dark Ages when the manga section was 12 books and the anime rental section was mixed in with children's. And sale was all VHS since DVDs weren't around yet.
I've only seen the OVA and the first 5 episodes of the anime. The OVA is good and the movies I supposed to be excellent.

The first episode of Kashimashi came with an Otaku USA I got for free from work. I watched it and thought the concept was certainly interesting.
And it vaguely matches your description...

Right now, I'm watching Kurenai and School Rumble. Kurenai is alright...I'm losing interest in it myself, since nothing's really keeping me watching. I liked the main character until he wussed out on the train.

DARN IT, SHINKURO, YOU MISSED YOUR BIG CHANCE TO BECOME DENSHA OTOKO! D=

School Rumble's great, though, but I did hear that the plot gets messed up later on.

Kashimashi ~ Girl Meets Girl ~ is great, but not exactly the straight romance you were looking for. Totally lesbian I'd say. It definitely has heartbreaking moments though.

*agrees* extremely. Not on the scale of hentai but it is DEFINITELY ecchi.

Eh ... I've definitely seen far worse ... though Chobits (Anime) may have been worse than the Manga which was very, VERY, tame.

Our definitions of fanservice may be completely different. Kanokon, To~Love~Ru, Rosario+Vampire, etc. are "OMG FANSERVICE." Chobits was totally not like that at all to me >>.

Edit: Keeping up with Doubt ... the most recent chapter doesn't surprise me what-so-ever but it's pretty awesome still I guess.
