I fucking loved him. So adorable, so sad. I was mesmerized watching his facial expressions. The actual movie was beautiful and moving, but I found the plot insufficient. Perhaps if I had read the novels certain things would make more sense. You could tell it was Ghibli, but not Hayao Miyazaki.

On topic, I'm watching Nichijou now. It's very funny and cute sometimes, not as much at other times. Not that it gets bad, but it's a little uneven.

Yes, I've read a lot of books, and I love to read, but I never seem to end up reading what everyone else is reading. I read in isolation, picking random books out from the library. I've read frightfully few classics of any genre. Therefore I'm aware of the Earthsea cycle, I know the author, I can shelve them in order, but I've never read them. *shrugs* I don't think it really matters to read classics or popular books. It's not like I'm trying to sound book hipster, or that I avoid classics, but I just never seemed to pick them up when left to my own devices.

I'm having a Ghibli movie marathon. I watched Tales from Earthsea again this morning. And then the first half once more, just to soak up all the delicious Arren.

Just finished Howl's Moving Castle, and now I'm starting Princess Mononoke. <3

Before watching, I kinda thought that Hiroto would be my favourite character. However, Fubuki's character development made me want to squeeze him to death :X....
so I don't know who's my favourite character :/

And is it just me or does Aki get, like, no character development throughout the entire show?
