No, this topic isn't about real estate. I'm talking about the Hogwarts Houses. From, you know, Harry Potter.

"Why are you doing this, Sampson?" you may ask. Well, it shows what all of us value most in ourselves. And so we can laugh at anyone who chose Hufflepuff.

But, for those of you that don't know what the Houses are, here's a quick rundown, complete with your wizarding profession!:

Gryffindor

Associated Traits: Bravery, Courage, Loyalty
At Its Best: Everyone loves you!
At Its Worst: You're a douchebag.
Likely Occupation: Auror (fights EVIL), hero

Slytherin

Associated Traits: Cunning, ambition, EVIL
At Its Best: You're constantly double crossing everyone.
At Its Worst: You're just evil.
Likely Occupation: Spy, evil overlord

Ravenclaw

Associated Traits: Intelligence, wit, knowledge
At Its Best: You're the one that keeps everyone from eating the evil mushroom!
At Its Worst: You're either insane or annoying.
Likely Occupation: Scholar, teacher, librarian, anything involving books

Hufflepuff

Everything not covered by the previous three.

...You'll probably end up as a laborer, or something else unremarkable.


Anyway, I'd probably be a Ravenclaw, if only because I take the most pride in my random knowledge. Although I wouldn't mind being a Slytherin...

Part of the reason I made this thread was so that I could play with the colors. Just saying.

I voted for 'what's a hufflepuff?'. I read the first chapter or so of the first HP book once, long ago. That's all I know of HP, so I have no idea what all this stuff is about.

So, what traits and occupations do I get?

Honestly, I think the Sorting Hat would stick me into Ravenclaw. MAYBE I'm loyal enough for Gryffindor but there's a part of me that seriously doubts it.

Of course some traits cross over and it's whatever the Sorting Hat feels you are "the most" at. For a non-spoiler example: Hermione could have easily been stuffed into Ravenclaw, and I sometimes wonder why she wasn't. I think it speaks volumes of her inner-personality.

cause if i have any outstanding traits its that i'm cynical and a helpless romantic and those don't really fit into any of the houses.

I don't think Slytherin is "bad" - just that bad witches/wizards COME from Slytherin. Very big difference.

I mean, who wants to be a Hufflepuff? No one approaches the sorting hat and is like DEAR GOD PLEASE HUFFLEPUFF! MUST BE HUFFLEPUFF! They're the house for losers.

Therefore I predict noodles would be a hufflepuff.
