Right, it's not the actual money that's the problem. It's the irresponsible behaviour that would cause me, as a parent, to suspend or restrict the privilege I've given my kid.

It would depend on what the ex-boyfriend is doing. Is he saying crude or inappropriate things? Begging to get her back? Or is he just trying to stay friends?

It's Thursday! \o/

Also, only 8 more weeks until my girlfriend returns from England.

@Phone stuff

I am really grateful that my parents are still paying my phone bill, because next year that's another 40 bucks that comes out of my budget when I'm away from home, probably will end up coming out of my comic money more often than not.

It isn't easy, but it is doable (doable? I do not like the way that is spelled...). When I moved to Austin and my plans fell through and I needed space and money, I sold almost all of my books. Had about 30 that I kept that were too difficult to replace or too sentimentally valuable to me. Sometimes I miss them, but not only are they all easily replaced later, now I have an excuse to buy even better copies than the ones I had before (like hardcovers and UK editions and HARDCOVER UK EDITIONS OMG <3).

My store sells floppies at a few cents over US cover price, and I dropped a few titles recently and spend about 30-40 bucks right now. All of last school year I kept it under 15-20 a month, but that's as low as I want to go. It was tough. Maybe tougher than just quitting, because I was always wanting to spend more. We'll see how next year goes...

If a Trifkin, a Trifkin!, can part with her beloved books (collectively known as The Preciousessss, which must only ever be pronounced in the Golum voice) without her poor little heart and mind breaking into a million pieces (it ended up being a much more manageable 100 pieces), a Zamisk will be an even tougher nut to crack!

I called my girlfriend Precious in a Gollum voice once. She asked me to please never do that again.

Lol.
