I think I might not be cut out for DMing, it was thrust upon me and I don't really enjoy it anymore.

I ran a game of Savage Worlds a while ago, and enjoyed it immensely, so I think I'm good for DMing. I already have the early parts of a Pathfinder game in my head.

Or you could remove the traps. Or change how the players are expected to deal with them.

So, the group I was in doesn't look like it's gonna meet up again any time soon. My friend's too busy to get time to start our campaign (we set a date for a session and it never works out in the end) and I'm incredibly bored. : /

Wish more friends IRL played/were interested.

So my friends started playing Star Wars: Edge of the Empire yesterday, and I dropped in to see what it was like. Long story short: I'm gonna be playing an R4 unit!

It looks like a pretty fun system. Going in, the only problem I can see is that the game requires special dice (you can buy a set for $10), but how the games uses these dice is also a big draw to the system, I think.

I'm gonna go make my character now. :3

Nessy and I were thinking of getting the Firefly game, that's kind of similar. Sounds fun!

So, my DM really finetuned his system and it works very well, now. He actually managed to kill me in our second encounter (undead revive revived me later) through a crit though. The issue with our party is we're all very squishy. '

The highlight of the session was when I danced around these traps and got to the chest on the other side and then opened it up to find it was empty. So, I did the next best thing. Screamed down the cave and brought 3/5 of the party that nearly wiped us to me and had them step in their own traps.

I have been playing a lot of Yugioh these days, and Risk and Settlers of Catan and Bang! (Coolest game ever.) Also my roommates next year are interested in playing Pathfinder, so that's cool. I'll have to DM again, though.
