Howdy howdy, how're y'all doin?

I'll make a confession up-front: I probably won't be the most active of posters. I don't have a good track record of staying regular with forums (life's busy, you know?) and there is one or two forums that I've been a member of since high school, that I know people in real life from, and try to visit at least a every couple of months. There are handfuls of other focused forums I've long-since forgotten about.

But I shall enjoy my time while I'm here! And I'm here because in my quest of cool games for my newly-purchased 3DS, I stumbled upon this series. Big Zelda fan, and that's my main game franchise. But I became interested in Persona Q because it looked appealing (never played any of the other Persona games) I was directed to give EOIV a try because it used the same gameplay. Not a big fan of turn-based combat myself, but I thought I'd give it a try.

Let's just say that I just reached the end of the demo and am itching for more. :)

Afraid not. :)

"Dr. Joe" is actually what I named my medic character (pictured). "Rose" is what I named the pictured character in my sig, as well. I have a fun, motley crew cast, haha.

Glad you're enjoying it so far! I haven't made it very far in IV, but I beat II and played through most of III. This is the only forum I've ever been constantly active on, although there are a few others I visit sometimes. I hope you enjoy your stay.

So many new people lately.

Hi Doc! Welcome to Itl :)

Did you start Persona Q yet? From what I've heard about it, it's not the best introduction to the Persona/SMT universe. It's aimed more at fans who've already played P3 and P4.

As someone who has tried all four of the games, personally, I would suggest starting off with the first Persona remake for the PSP. I started off with P4, found P3 to be better and the difficulty curve going into either of the P2 games was difficult. Persona Q is definitely aimed for fans who have played Persona 3 and 4 before and requires some knowledge of both games, even much so that Atlus . (Japanese only, but you might have read the storyline already.)

Regardless, welcome to the forums, Dr. Joe!

The two persona3 and 4 games are offered on playstation network even. Both are delicious. I love P3 the most with its darker atmosphere and stricter/less forgiving gameplay.
