Hello Everyone! I still check in every now and again, mostly to clear out spam when I see it. While I understand EO is actually getting busier, time to manage this place has dwindled .

This may seem strange and out of the blue that I would randomly join here but I found this place after browsing a whole bunch of Zelda websites using the wayback machine.

I used to run Asylum Gaming years ago and it was briefly affiliated with both Midnight Castle's Legend of Zelda and Rauru's Return. Maxine and Archaic Sage, if you still remember me or my site, long time no see! If not, well carry on then, it has been a while, haha.

How come this place got so silent? It was very lively during EO4, but I see EO5 dwindled quite a lot in activity and EO Nexus is almost dead in the discussion, if it were ever alive.

So what happened? I'm still here but I never checked the forum much because Gmail refused to show me the notifications for the forum. Now I'm trawling gamefaqs and reddit for advice. But honestly, this place is much better. Or was.

Would be sad to see it get completely ruined, so where did everyone go?

It's been a long time and a lot of the core crew are either mostly lurking or have moved on, and the general population seems to gravitate towards reddit for this kind of thing. I think a lot of us haven't touched the EO games in ages which makes it hard to chime in on that half of the board, and as a result we don't come around here as much either. It's too bad, I have nothing but fond memories of this place and miss everybody.

Daige - It's weird that gmail isn't cooperating with your ITL notifications. The number one reason I remember to come back as frequently as I do is because of my notifications.

As for the Reddit folks, it hadn't even occurred to me to check for EO people there... I'm not sure I want to. I love you guys and I love this place. It's like an old familiar tavern, the Cheers of forums for me.

Zam - Ha! My little doodles. YOU're the one killing it with the fantastic posts! That Thrud series is the best thing. Also CONGRATULATIONS on that board game/tabletop rpg gig. I see that the Kickstarter has far exceeded its goal and I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! I will be picking up a copy of that when it's out and forcing all of my friends to play.

noods - Insta of the Grams. : 3 I'm behind on the prompts, but I'm catching up! I'll be posting more soon. I have a writer friend who's using my drawings as writing prompts as we go through the month. It's a ton of fun.
