Got a letter with encouraging words and a statement that a huge chunk of my tuition has been payed off.

I am not supposed to cry, but it just keeps happening. I am so very grateful. I am not at all worthy.

I got a slew of gifts today but one that both my sisters worked on that is absolutely breathtaking and means so much to me. I cried when I saw it.

It's a necklace. A circle with a tree inside of it. The circle and the tree's leaves are inlaid with faux-diamonds. It's beautiful in and of itself, but beneath it is a small plaque. On the plaque is engraved two simple words:

My saying that keeps me going and keeps me sane. I use it for inspiration as well as to remind myself, when I'm down or stuck, that there is nothing more to be done. Just write.

Of all the sayings that she could have put into that necklace for me <3

The way I understand it, she started with the saying. She wanted something with that saying, a bracelet, a ring, a pen, a magnet. This is what both her and my other sister came up with. Nothing could be more precious to me.

I have the greatest family in the world and the two most precious sisters. I burst out crying and I'm still tearing up whenever I look at it. It is just that wonderful.

^_^ I have no choice now. I will finish my book and I will get it published. To have that much heart to give me back my own saying. <3 I have to if only for them. I don't think I can look at this saying of mine anymore without hearing it in my sisters' voices.

This year was actually rather nice when it came to presents, which doesn't happen all that often for me.

What I got:

I got The Legend of Zelda: Prima Collector's Edition Guides Box Set from my parents, finally managing to get one for my collection before they ran out! I got an incredibly close # too, so it seems that they're finally selling out. [49,789/50,000]. My sister got me a Vaporeon Plush along with an "I Main Toon Link" Pin, which was really sweet!

Then, two days after Christmas, the present I got from my girlfriend finally arrived in the mail. The Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Collector's Edition! I was absolutely blown away, especially since these were only available through pre-order on SE's official site!

What I gave:

I was sadly rather broke this year, so I only managed to get my sister and girlfriend a present. For my sister, I got her the Kirby amiibo figure. For my girlfriend, on the other hand, I managed to get the Diamond Edition Sleeping Beauty with the Best Buy Exclusive cover [a purchase I made back in October and was holding onto since then] and Volumes 2-10 of Sket Dance, her favorite anime/manga!

It may not seem like much to some, but this was a "bigger" Christmas it really was a nice change of pace for me. Hope everyone had a good time during the Holidays! c:

My Christmas is so exciting.

As for the stuff I gave away: A FF14 Carbuncle plush, a Zelda-themed calendar, a complete season set of Breaking Bad and a necklace.

... Next year, I expect better presents.

-A new bank account to rent/buy a house from my parents
-Clothes from my parents' friends
-Lingerie and waffles from Monsieur

What I gave:
-A Undertale T shirt and Exploding Kittens for Monsieur
-Cooking Christmas dinner for my parents (they never ask for gifts, they only want food and booze)
