So I fell ill a few days ago, and I got some day and nighquil, (or however you spell that.) and i've been feeling better. So i'm taking a bit from the bottle. I hadn't fed the cats yet, and they were antsy.
The fatter cat, Leo, jumped up onto the counter and took a huge whiff of the lid.
Cats do not like the smell of medicine...
His face looked funny, so I decided I would go over to him with the lid in my hand, so I could take a picture. Now I have a scratch ;_;

My boxer, Belle, is getting kind of old. We can tell because she's snoring and being loud in general, as opposed to a year ago when she would only be loud when barking. Now she's a loud snorer, as well as other small things. It's sort of adorable to hear her snoring next to the door. It also makes me feel a bit more secure knowing that she's there in case someone breaks in.

.... this is going to be a long winter, I think. Poor Blou, our 12+ year old beagle, has been shivering a lot more than usual lately. It's getting cold. Tonight it was very crisp outside. He clearly wanted to go outside but as soon as I opened the door, he kinda sniffed at the open air and turned around and went back into the house.... :\ What's he going to do when there's snow on the ground?
Poor Blou. And if he wasn't so stubborn, I would chance putting a sweater on him - if I thought I would come back with a hand.....
