Well, ah. I just beat the main storyline and uh. I don't know. I had hoped they would explain things more instead of shoving a LOL U BEET DER GAME screen there. But whatever. I wasn't expecting anything from the story anyways.

Mmm level sixty master monk and everyone else straggling behind in the fifties and forties? And then there's my level 17 moogle knight, who is a different story altogether. AHOY THAR. YOU NEED LEVELS. I didn't want to kick him because he's mastered so many classes already, but... I never use him. Currently his only use is for helping me catch some chocobos for those rancher's request missions.

So after manually doing about 190 missions, I finally figured out the dispatch crap. I am dumb, yes I know. I didn't know that they show the indicators AFTER you put them down on the dispatch... area. I facedesk'd when I realized that. Ah well, I got used to manually doing missions, and some of those little scenes before the missions are pretty cute, so I think I'll try to do all of the non-forced-dispatch missions manually. Waste of time, but hey. That's the entire point of this game, right? Might as well make the most of it.

Meh; I did the missions manually, if only for everyone getting EXP and because the game is trivially easy anyway so I might as well slaughter everything for fun. Probably didn't help I used some overpowered combinations (Sniper, Double Casting Summoner >> Pretty much duo'd the final boss in the mid-50s).

Incidentally, there's a Mission you have to dispatch for, despite having the option to do it yourself. Apparently Dispatch allows the unit to travel more than one spot a day or something.

Auction House also horribly breaks the early game Don't exploit it unless you want to make the game even easier than it already is.

[spoiler]I was so hoping for either him saying "Fuck you Aunt" and staying with Adelle or her just tagging along or ... I dunno. Cid going insane and showing off his skillz as an ex-Khamja member, though they seemed pretty pathetic so not much to expect from Cid I guess. ANYTHING besides, "well, k, bai guyz." Ugh. How disappointing.

Also of note, I hate the fact the "Clear" Data doesn't overwrite the save you put it on; I had a back-up save I stopped using mid-way through the game that I saved over in case I ever wanted to do the final boss again or something ... and all it did was append "Clear Game" to my save file that's only at the start of the Vaan / Penelo stuff. Oh boy. Now I get to re-beat the game and watch the ending to get another Clear file >>[/spoiler]
