Yes, you are going to encounter clashes in terms of beliefs, values and opinions. That is obvious, given the nature of the Internet of the exchange of information between many parties. It is a very volatile place where lots of bullshit can happen. Now, there is the one deal on the internet that we should take seriously, I can understand that. But arguments like this? It is petty, should we really be making a mountain out of a molehill like this? Some drama occurred, that could clearly be circumvented had the two opposing parties calmed down and not taken each other's opinions seriously. Remember, you yourself mentioned that people are going to have conflicting beliefs. You have your own opinion, the others have theirs. Don't go around enforcing your shit down on other people when they aren't going to listen and adamantly defend themselves, it is going to create a massive shitstorm.
