Playstation has better graphics and CD-quality music, but I'm a Famifreak so I go with SFC.


Do you read ? They are a wonderful site with great informative articles about a lots of games that pique my interest (this month it's ALL about Treasure games).

In particular, they have done an article on the Parodius series:

I can honestly say that this site is one in a million, I have NEVER disagreed with it. Check it out.

I just now finished reading their Treasure feature. I am hella looking forward to Bangai-O Spirits now. It seriously looks awesome.

And Radiant Silvergun looks pretty good too, but it seems like that's going to be tough to get a copy at a decent price :(

Okay then. I can now vouch for Geometry Wars Galaxies awesomeness. For the Wii version, at least. Though it does appear that the "campaign" mode is rather short. I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy it after I finish that. I dunno. I'll let ya know once I'm done with it, as I rented it.

Go ploay a game called FRAXY. Its free and downloadable. You can make your own bosses and enemies or download bosses made by others. You can also create your own stories and plots. Kind of like MUGEN except wih spaceships.

You can insert mp3 files into the bgm folder for bgm play capability

but the filename cannot have spaces in it
