Well, I'm sure that Nintendo and Microsoft both probably have something in the works, but the PS3 isn't doing well enough to justify a fourth yet. The PSP actually surprized me when I borrowed a friends. Sony overestimated the user base that the PS2 had built up, they thought that they would be able sell products right off the shelf. This coupled with lack luster games aside from MSG4 from what all the buzz has been saying, puts them at a disadvantage.

The PSP delivers. Simple as that. Great games, it does all of your multimedia needs, all of your connectivity needs, great screen, great battery life. It's also too sexy for it's shirt.
Anybody who bashes the PSP has either never tried it, or is a Nintendo/MS fanboy/girl.

Actually, on the topic of that author being popular (to some degree) in the US but not here, he uses PDT on his site, which I believe is the time zone for the West Coast of the US - here we have GMT (Greenwich Mean Time, or +00:00) so he is indeed based in and aimed at the US. Sorry for making such a big deal out of that, but it just interested me that I'd never heard of him.

The big issue I have had with the 360 is the hardware problems. People are saying that the RRoD is fixed, but I haven't seen anything concrete on it.
But I agree, the library is definitely there. Has by far the best library for any of the systems (well, except maybe the DS).
The Wii isn't a failure. It has come out with a decent selection of games. More than the PS3, IMO. I will say though that the VC is nowhere where I would like it. That IS failing right now in my opinion.
