Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?
Currently on my second house sit of the month. It's a bit hectic and Maple (my kitty cat) has been a bit disgruntled about all the shuffling around but overall she's been quite the trooper. It's very strange to live this way but kind of fun. No rent!

I forgot nexus was coming out until like today, I'll probably play it eventually lol
Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?
I've played only a few hours of EOV and have never touched the Untolds, but finally went back and played the original a bit this year at least...
Still, having access to all of my favorite class portraits in one party appeals to me a ton, so I might actually play this one right away.

It's crazy how back in 2012 everyone laughed at the idea of the Mayan apocalypse, and only 7 years later people are seriously envisaging the imminent collapse of our civilisation.
Definitely interesting times we live in, but they're stressful.
On the plus side, I made cookies.

Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?
Cookies are nice. What kind did you make?
Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?
Chocolate Chip Cookies
225 g flour
125 g semi-salted butter at room temperature
100 g sugar
1 egg
half a packet of baking powder
80 g dark baking chocolate, cut into chunks
a splash of rum (optional), a knife-tip of vanilla powder (optional)
Mix everything together except for the chocolate chunks, then add the chunks, form the cookies on a tray and bake until golden (5-10 minutes) at 200°C. Cool the cookies down on a grid.
The semi-salted butter makes a big difference; I like dark chocolate chunks better than chocolate chips too! Also you can try tweaking things a bit depending on what you have — I like this variant even better:
Wild Cookies
100 g chestnut flour
100 g white flour
25 g buckwheat flour
125 g semi-salted butter at room temperature
75 g sugar
1 egg
half a packet of baking powder,
nuts and dried fruits (I used chopped almonds, raisins and cranberries)
spices, to taste (I used about 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of cardamom, a knife-tip of ginger, a knife-tip of vanilla)
There's only 75 g of sugar in this one because chestnut flour is a bit sweet already.

Re: Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?
They both sound amazing. I'm not familiar with vanilla powder, but now I want to be. I also prefer dark chocolate chunks better than regular chocolate! Dark chocolate is just the best.
